Use our visual thermometer to compare the speed of steam in order to determine the temperature of water. The app is targeted specifically for those seeking to steep tea at proper temperatures, but can be used in any situation where determining the temperature of water is important. The range includes only those temperatures at which water has visible steam, i.e. 50 Celsius and above. In our tests we have found the thermometer to usually be accurate within five degrees of the actual temperature. The app also include a table of temperature guidelines to steep different kinds of teas. Includes option to display temperatures in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. Also scrolling thermometer can be set to left or right side to accomodate both left and right handed users.
Requires iOS 3.1 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
